mEGANOriginally from central California, Megan earned a Plant Science degree from UC Davis. She then headed north and completed her graduate work in Soil Science at Washington State University. Megan formed Crop Matters in 2015.

Joe
Joe grew up on a wheat and cattle ranch before studying Agricultural Technology and Management at WSU. He worked as a sales agronomist for Wilbur Ellis for two years. Joe recently completed a masters degree in Horticulture from WSU!

Ryen received a Botany degree from WSU (go Cougs!). He worked as a horticulturalist for a large tree fruit grower before joining Crop Matters. Ryen specializes in irrigated crop research and is based in Yakima.

Jonathan studied Field Crop Management at WSU. Originally from Walla Walla, Jonathan is now based in the central Palouse region. He assists with the dryland research component of Crop Matters.

HANKHank the cowdog is a nine year old border collie who acts as mascot, greeter, and security detail. Hank's favorite time of year is wheat harvest, when he gets to hunt for mice in the stubble.
